At the beginning of each week, you will receive a weekly newsletter. I try to keep this brief with only the important information. I like to include tips, areas where I’m seeing people struggle, workouts, recipes, etc… Please take time to read all newsletters. My cell and the business number is (773) 644-1441 You are free and welcome to text me at any time. I typically receive hundreds of texts an hour, therefore my phone is always silenced and I do spend the bulk of my day corresponding with members so never hesitate to reach out. In the event that I miss a text or forget to hit send (we all love when this happens!) Never hesitate to resend or remind me. Often I may see your text and reply in my head which we all know doesn’t count #maybesomeday
Now that you have registered you should have access to the exclusive Member Tab on the Getufit website. Your login and password should have been created when you registered. If you can not access the site, please contact me and I will help you.
You will find a lot of valuable resources on the website. Here is a list of items you can find in the menu off the site. If you click the links below they will navigate you to the site. You must be signed on in order to access.
First off, this is a complicated and sensitive subject that will inevitably derail you if you don’t change your mindset about this. Our bodies are very complicated, and even more unpredictable. We retain water, our bodies digest foods differently and at different rates, and bathroom patterns play a huge role in weight fluctuations. When you text me your morning weight, please add a ↑ or ↓ emoji to indicate a loss or gain from the day before. This helps me see at a glance if you have lost or gained. An example of this may be: 189.6↑ 188.6 ↓
•Be creative!!! I get 500 of these a day and I love emojis!
•I usually don’t respond to text messages until after lunch or mid-afternoon.
•If your weight is the same or within a few ounces you probably will not get a response from me.
•You will never go more than 3-4 without a response even with a stagnant weight.
After several days of no movement, I will be prompted to examine your log to determine what could be causing this stall in weight loss.
•Weekend weigh-ins are still required. This is when you need more accountability! You most likely will not get a response on the weekend but that doesn’t mean I didn’t see your text.
