Old Fashioned Grits

  • 40 grams or 1/4 cup dry grits prepared as indicated on packaging

  • Almond milk if desired

  • 1 tablespoon sugar-free jam (optional topping)

  • 16 grams of sliced almonds or 1 tablespoon


  1. Follow cooking instructions for grits but bringing almond milk to boil and adding grits.

  2. Bring stovetop to simmer and stir to avoid clumps. Top with a scoop of sugar free jam for an extra splash of sweetness. Top with nuts.
