Honeycrisp and Chicken Pita

• 1/2 large pita round or gluten free pita

• 3 ounces diced chicken

• 15 grams or 1 tablespoon hummus

• 25 grams or 1/4 honey crisp apple, sliced

• 10 grams or 2 tablespoons cheddar cheese or dairy free cheese

• Handful of greens such as arugula or spinach, optional

• 5 grams or 1 teaspoon light honey mustard salad dressing (or just mustard)


  1. Mix hummus and chicken together. Add to pita and layer apple, cheese and honey mustard along with optional greens. Enjoy with a serving of healthy fat.
